Every Friday, David heads to the men's shed in Northbridge to participate in woodworking to create things under the guidance of a supervisor. 🪵

During each session, David selects what he wants to create, crafting items like remote control holders, doorstops, coffee tables, side tables, trays, and more. He has gifted his creations to friends and family, including a special table he made for his sister. The array of tools and equipment at the shed fascinate David, and he enjoys experimenting with them to produce a variety of unique items. 🤩

David cherishes these sessions for the opportunity to practice a craft he loves and engage with fellow attendees. The group often shares lunch and welcomes him into conversations, fostering a sense of inclusivity. 💛

Through his visits, David has honed his woodworking skills, boosting his confidence and enhancing his ability to connect with others. This experience not only allows David to express his creativity but also enables him to actively participate in his local community.
