Shane's Art Story

🎨👨‍🎨 Meet Shane, a talented artist, who has been drawing for several years now. His love for art is undeniable, and he spends hours creating beautiful paintings. Every Tuesday, Shane and his Social Educator, Sarah, host art sessions where they draw pictures of their friends and explore different art techniques. They call themselves the 'S Club' - Shane and Sarah, the artists of THC.

The Housing Connection THC | Disability Support Services | Shane's Art Story 🌈 Recently, Shane has been experimenting with abstract and expressive paintings, using a range of colours, and letting his creativity flow. One of Shane’s other sources of inspiration is to paint his favourite TV show character, ‘Lucy’ from the I love Lucy show. Shane has gifted his artworks to others, including fellow THC participants, David and Anne, and Anne Louise (THC’s client service manager).

Shane's passion for art is truly therapeutic, and he uses a variety of mixed media, colour pencils, paints, and sketching depending on his mood. Painting, in particular, is his favourite, and he excels at it. We are so proud of Shane's incredible talent and the joy he brings to our community through his artwork.
